Ashley Blinds are a family-owned business, supplying and installing blinds, curtains, shutters and awnings since 2002. Based in Poole and covering the whole of the BCP area as well as other areas of Dorset, Wiltshires and Hampshire, they approached Tidal Studios in 2023 to task us with redesigning their website.

Working closely with owners Jo and Simon Jardine, we set about designing a website that could reflect the prestigious nature of their products as well as being attractive to their older, more affluent demographic. We used a fresh, contemporary colour palette and fullscreen desktop design to allow the images of the various products to really make a statement. We kept text to a minimum and, because of the bespoke nature of the installations, the site encouraged users to get in touch with Ashley Blinds for a free consultation. The site was thoroughly tested to ensure that it worked effectively on desktops, laptops, tablets and phones.

To help with keeping their customer base up-to-date with the latest news, we created a MailChimp account with a few newsletter templates so that regular emails could be sent to the mailing list. We have since worked with Ashley Blinds on an ongoing basis, creating and regularly updating a news blog that can be shared to social media channels. We have also produced print advertisements and mailer leaflets for their sales team.
