Back of the Net
Whilst most of Tidal Studios’ clients are local to the Dorset area, we do have many nationwide clients as well as some that operate internationally. One of these clients is Hi-Nets, a world-leader in the manufacture and installation of bespoke high-performance sports netting.
Tidal Studios recently designed and built a new responsive and content managed (CMS) website for the company. Their old site was a static HTML site and wasn’t easily viewed on mobile devices. The new website was developed from an initial brief from the client to recreate the revolving tiles effect made familiar by the Microsoft Windows home page. The animated effects were eventually minimised but the grid-like structure was retained featuring the primary colours from the logo. The main home page and header images were created in Adobe Photoshop and other images were supplied by the client. Text from the original website was rewritten to be optimised for search engines. Calls to action and contact details were prominent.
Since the website launch, Hi-Nets has already reported a higher return on sales enquiries, especially for their line of Golf Pods. These ‘mini driving ranges’ are able to be utilised both at existing courses and other outside venues allocated for recreational sports. This increase in customer interest reflects how outdoor venues have been forced to adapt during the coronavirus restrictions. This ability to respond to changing demands has been facilitated by Hi-Nets wider online exposure generated from their new website.
